The Canadian Beef Technology Transfer Network brings together individuals from across the country who are involved in beef and forage extension efforts. The group focuses on identifying opportunities to communicate and collaborate with each other on extension initiatives that lead to greater adoption of relevant technologies and beneficial production practices on Canadian beef farms and ranches. 

Our activities include an annual online meeting and staying in touch via email updates provided throughout the year. Our goal is to help facilitate ongoing dialogue amongst our group, using this as a forum to hear updates about current and ongoing extension activities plus share ideas for future initiatives as a vehicle to build stronger collaboration. Members of the Network receive direct communication in an effort to ensure that they are aware of extension funding opportunities, such as BCRC funding calls, and any upcoming meetings or events.   

The Network continues to grow and we always welcome new members. If you are interested in joining, simply send an email to extension@beefresearch.ca and we will add you to our distribution list to be included in all future correspondence. Participation in all activities is completely voluntary.
